About Elizian Days
Hello, I'm Liza
Liza Patoux BSc (Hons) MA MCIM FRSA CH MFHT
Liza is a people manager, hypnotherapist, dancer and yoga teacher who threw herself into wellbeing when an unexpected health-scare changed her life. Liza has over 25 years’ experience in the global media industry and cultural relations. She is known for her work marketing some of the biggest TV brands, including launching Teletubbies in Moscow, Doctor Who in France and producing a live Tweenies stage show in Madrid, as well as campaigns supporting young people to take action on climate change. Her second life as a dancer led her to assisting legendary Lindy Hopper Frankie Manning in New York, tap dancing for one of the Nicholas Brothers in Sweden and dancing the Charleston on The People’s Strictly Come Dancing.
When a life-changing diagnosis in 2015 meant embarking on a gruelling course of aggressive treatment, Liza was determined not to give any of this up and continue living life to the full. With the support of her medical team and managers, Liza continued to work full time and teach dance. Once cured and able to focus on recovery, Liza embarked on her holistic wellbeing journey, underpinned with mind, movement and relaxation. A certified hypnotherapist and yoga teacher, Liza blends evidence-based mindfulness techniques with traditional yoga that are tailored to the individual. She continues her professional development with the creator of Restorative Yoga, Judith Hanson Lasater, having also trained with Sally Parkes and Claire Missingham.
